Covid-19 Policy

We know Covid-19 is a big concern for you. It is a big concern for us too. We would like to reassure you that your health and safety are number one priority for us. It is vitally important for us to keep all our guests safe as well as the people in our communities along the Track and for that reason we ensure that all porters and guides are fully vaccinated. We also require all of our trekkers to be fully vaccinated prior to arriving for the start of the trek (please check with PNG govt public health measure so you know what you will need to enter the country. We follow all Covid-19 health protocol on our tours.  We are also working closely with all our external suppliers to make sure proper protocol is being followed at every level to keep everyone on our treks healthy and safe.  We ensure that our transport vehicles are thoroughly cleaned after each trip and that all guests must wear face masks as dictated by public health protocol while in the vehicle. If you don’t have one, one will be provided. Hand sanitizer is available, and we do recommend that our guests ensure an appropriate amount of hand sanitizer is with them at all times while on the trek.

We also understand that booking a trip now might be a cause for concern. We would like to reassure you that we understand your concern.  For this reason, we have adjusted our usual booking/deposit procedures to accommodate the changing environment. We only require a 10% deposit at the time of booking with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to the start of the trek. And, if the dates need to be pushed out further due to an outbreak or lockdown, we can accommodate these changes as well.

These are difficult times for everyone and by working together we can get back to a place where we can all safely be together. We look forward to working with you and seeing you on the Kokoda Track with us.
